Oh, this is an easy one...my hometown, Charleston, South Carolina is my favorite city because it is beautiful and amazing and the best city ever! I couldn´t choose just one picture...

Day 36: A picture of something/someone you miss

I miss my grandma and my aunt, who both died from cancer in 2006. I couldn´t find a picture of my grandma on the computer. And I miss my two dogs, Tahoe and Ginger, who died in 2009 and 2010, respectively.

Day 37: Your nicknames

I have many nicknames. It depends on who the person is calling my name. If it´s my dad, he either calls me Pumpkin or Meganio. I have a lot of friends/family that just call me Meg. A few friends from church here in Mexico call me Meggie. And a select few friends from high school/soccer team know my old nickname, Beans. (I´m not going to explain the reason behind that name!) My husband has many nicknames for me, but I think the one he uses the most is ¨blondie¨ in Spanish. Everyone else just calls me Megan :-)

This is my sweet kitten Mona. She brings so much joy to my life and always puts a smile on my face. I love her dearly <3




Day 33: 3 Wishes

If I could have 3 wishes, I would wish:

1. To have beautiful, healthy children of my own (preferably sooner, rather than later!)

2. That somehow Hermosillo and Charleston could be closer so that Abe and I could both be near our homes, families, and friends without the other one having to sacrifice

3. That there would be no such thing as cancer, that it just didn´t exist and therefore I could have back all my family members that died from it :-(

Days 28-30

Day 28: A picture of your favorite book

My favorite book hands down is the Bible.




Day 29: A picture of something you wish you could change

I wish I could get rid of cancer, any and all kinds of cancer, just make it all go away and never exist again!




Day 30: A picture of your day

Since today is Valentine´s Day, my day is full of love, thanks to my wonderful husband! <3 Happy Valentine´s Day everyone! ¡Feliz Dia del Amor y Amistad! (I have to add that everyday is full of love for me, not just today!)

Days 26 and 27

Day 26: Something you´re looking forward to

I´m looking forward to becoming a Mom to a baby here on earth. I don´t know when that day will be, but I have faith that it will happen one day. As long as I can remember, my dream has always been to be a Mom. I love children so much and have been babysitting since I was 10 years old. I know that one day God will bless me with my own healthy, beautiful babies to love, cherish, and nurture here on earth. And I honestly can´t wait for that day! :-)

Day 27: A picture of somewhere you´d love to travel

South America! I would love to go anywhere and everywhere in South America...Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay...I want to go to all of them!

Days 21-25

I have been busy, which is why I haven´t been blogging every day. But it´s not like anyone actually reads this anyway! Haha :-)

Day 21: Picture of your favorite band/artist

My favorite band is probably Maná, although there are many others that I like too. For all those who don´t know, they are a Mexican rock band and they are fantastic!



My favorite artist is probably Mariah Carey, but I definitely prefer her older stuff to her newer stuff. There is just NOBODY who can compete with the range and pipes that she has!




Day 22: Picture of someone you could never imagine your life without

God. I couldn´t go a day without Him in my life. No way.




Day 23: Bible verse

One of my favorites is Jeremiah 29:11. It keeps me going every day and gives me hope for the future.




Day 24: Picture of something you want to do before you die

I would love to go on a Missions trip one day.




Day 25: Picture of someone who inspires you

My good friend from church, T. She is an amazing woman. She is so strong and graceful and is always positive. I admire her a lot and look up to her. I hope that I can be the wife and mother that she is one day. :-)

Days 19 and 20

Day 19: A picture of something you hate

Racism. I HATE it. We are all HUMAN BEINGS!!! It´s really that simple. Skin color does NOT make a person better or worse than another, just different.



A little side note on this subject...something else I hate...when it´s my birthday and half of my supposed ¨best friends¨ forget and don´t say happy birthday to me! Sad, but true. The older I get, I´m starting to realize that I have fewer and fewer true friends. :-(

Probably a tie between my highschool best friend, L, and my college best friend, K. Many adventures were had with these two fun ladies! :-)

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my 25th birthday! :-) I´m so thankful to God for allowing me another year of life. I received these beautiful flowers from my lovely husband this morning. And my students in one of my classes tonight threw me a little celebration with cake and everything! Aside from still being sick, today has been a pretty good day! I am so blessed and am starting to realize who my real, true friends are. So, thanks to everyone for all the well wishes :-)
